Getting started>>Finding answers to questions
To get help for CourseCompass, click Help in the top-right corner of any CourseCompass page. CourseCompass Help opens in a separate browser window.
Tip: Because Help contains a wealth of information, it can take several minutes to appear. You may find it useful to open Help when you first log in to CourseCompass and then leave the Help window open while you work.
Four buttons appear at the top of the Help window.

Contents |
Displays Help books and their topics.
To open a book, click the book icon. Click a page icon to view the corresponding topic in the topic pane. To close a book, click the book icon again. |

Index |
Lets you search for more information about a particular topic.
You can type a word or phrase in the box in the top pane, or scroll through the list. After you find the entry of interest to you, click (or double-click, depending on your browser) the title of the topic to view it in the right pane. |

Search |
Lets you search the entire Help system for words or phrases.
Type a search term in the box in the top pane, then click Go. To search for more than one term, use one of the following Boolean operators:

Glossary |
Displays a list of frequently used terms and their definitions.
Click (or double-click, depending on your browser) a term in the top-left pane to see its definition in the bottom-left pane. |
