If you created a course by searching or browsing for publisher-provided course materials, or by copying either your own or another instructor's course based on such materials, your course may already include course documents, assignments, Discussion Board forums, tests or surveys, question pools, and an eBook.
Enter the course by clicking its name in the Courses area on the My CourseCompass page. To view:
Course-specific announcements, click Announcements in the course menu or click Communication and then Announcements.
Course information and to install the required plug-ins, players, and viewers for your course, click Course Information in the course menu.
Course documents, click Course Documents in the course menu. Course Documents typically contains the course's academic materials, such as lecture notes and handouts. Open folders by clicking them.
Assignments, click Assignments in the course menu. Open folders by clicking them.
Discussion Board forums, click Communication in the course menu, then click Discussion Board. Click each forum in turn.
Links to other online resources, click External Links in the course menu.
Tests or surveys, click Control Panel in the course menu, then click Assessment/Test Manager or Survey Manager under Assessment.
Question pools, click Control Panel in the course menu, then click Pool Manager under Assessment.
An eBook, if your course has one, do any of the following:
Click a chapter link in the course TOC on the course home page.
Click Books in the course menu, then click the link to a chapter.
Click Course Documents in the course menu, click Online Textbook, then click the link to a chapter.
Click Course Documents in the course menu, click Lecture Materials (if available), then click Online Textbook.
Tips:
The course map and course home page provide quick ways to find existing course content.
To customize a course, you can edit, hide, move, or remove publisher-provided materials. You can also add your own materials. For more information, see customizing a course.
