Adding IMS content

You can add IMS content to any content area of your course.

To add IMS content and packaging to a content area:

1. Click the course name on the My CourseCompass page.

2. Click Control Panel.

3. Under Content Areas, click the area where you want to add the assignment, for example, Assignments.

4. Select IMS Content & Packaging from the drop-down list on the right of the Add toolbar at the top of the page, then click Go.

5. Under Required Information, type a name in the Title box, then click Browse.

6. Browse to select an IMS (.zip) file, then click Open. The IMS file name and path appear in the Content Package box.  

7. Under Options, select options for the IMS content

8. Click Submit, then click OK.
