Adding content to folders

Once you add a folder to a content area, you can add any type of content to it. You can add new content directly to the folder or copy existing course content into it. You can also add a folder to a folder.

To add content to a folder:

  1. Click the course name on the My CourseCompass page.

  2. Click Control Panel.

  3. Under Content Areas, click the area that contains the folder you want to add content to. The page for that content area appears.

  4. Click the folder name to open it. The page for that folder appears.

  5. Click one of the content types on the Add toolbar at the top of the page, or select a content type from the drop-down list at the far right and click Go. Follow the instructions in the appropriate topic:

  1. Click OK when you have finished adding content.
