Recognized media formats

When you attach a media file to an item, you have the choice to add a link to the file or display the file within the page. If you select the option to display the file within the page, the file must be in a format recognized by CourseCompass. Otherwise, CourseCompass will create a link to the file instead of displaying it in place.

Note: CourseCompass can recognize additional file types and associated applications if a MIME extension is added to an XML file in the file system
