When you add an item to a content area, you can specify one or more files to attach to the item. If you attach a packaged file, for example a .zip file with multiple files zipped into one compressed file, you can set an option to automatically extract the files when the student clicks the file link.
The following procedure assumes you are doing one of the following actions:
You are adding an item to a content area and attaching a packaged file to that item. You selected Unpackage the file. When you click Submit to save the item, the File Options page appears.
You are modifying an item and have clicked Modify next to a packaged file you attached. The File Options page appears.
To set file options on the File Options page:
Select an entry point for the package from the list of files in the Entry Point box. You will see all the files contained in the attached packaged file.
Click Submit, then click OK.
