Text display formats

When you create or modify assessments and assessment questions, you choose the format in which you want the assessment description, question text, and feedback text to be displayed:

• Smart Text displays the text as it is entered but converts URLs and e-mail addresses into links.

• Plain Text displays the text exactly as it is entered, with no links.

• HTML displays the text as you have formatted it with HTML tags.

•  Insert Equation lets you create or edit an equation using an editor where you pick equation components from menus that contain mathematical symbols and operators.

•  Insert MathML lets you create or edit an equation using MathML (an XML-based mathematical markup language).
