The course home page typically opens by default when you click your course's name on the My CourseCompass page. You can also open the course home page while you are working in a course by clicking Course Home in the course menu.
Note: You can add the course home page to your course if it does not appear by default.
Here is an example of a course home page:

Course name and banner
Instructor name
Dynamic course outline that you can expand or collapse
The main folders in the course outline match the content areas of your course. You can display the contents of the Course Information area, for example, by opening the Course Information folder in the outline or by clicking Course Information on the left.
You can customize the course home page. You can also select a different course page to open by default when you or a student clicks the course's link.
