Removing the course home page

Depending on the course materials you selected when you created your course, the course home page may appear in your course. As an instructor, however, you can remove the course home page from your course.

Notes:

• When you remove the course home page from your course, Course Home no longer appears in the course menu.

• If you accidentally remove the course home page from your course, you can add the course home page back to your course.

• If you have enabled a Section Instructor to access your course, he or she can also add or remove the course home page.

To remove the course home page from your course:

1. Click the course name on the My CourseCompass page.

2. Click Control Panel.

3. Click Create/Remove Course Home under Course Tools.
   
   CourseCompass displays a message, depending on whether or not course home is already in your course:

Course Home appears to be in the course menu.

Do you want to remove Course Home button from the course menu?  

4. Click Submit, then click OK.
