CourseCompass courses have a wealth of publisher-provided content of various content types. You can organize this content any way you want. For example, you can modify, hide, move, and remove publisher-provided content. You can add content areas to the course, populate them with your own content, and change the course menu to reflect your customizations.
Before you make any changes, you should review any publisher-provided content and plan your customizations.
To customize your course, you can add course content and then organize it.
You can also customize the appearance of your course by adding or removing a course banner. You can also add and use special character palettes, for example, if you are teaching a foreign language.
Note: The CourseCompass Customer Technical Support does not support the Building Block Tool Availability functionality that appears when you click Manage Tools under Course Options in the Control Panel. CourseCompass also does not recognize the Guest and Observer user roles.
