Removing a course banner

The Announcements page includes a graphic that appears at the top of the page. You can remove the banner altogether, or you can add a different banner to the page.

To remove a banner from the Announcements page:

1. In the Courses area on the My CourseCompass page, click Details, to the right of the name of the course you want to modify. The Course Details page displays.  

2. Click the Course Settings button on the left. The Course Settings page displays.

3. Click the Course Design button. The Course Design page displays.

4. Click the Course Banner button.  The Course Banner page displays. The current banner image is shown in the Select Banner section of the page.

5. Select the Remove this banner check box.

6. Click Submit, then click OK. The banner no longer appears on the Announcements page.
