To send messages:
On the My CourseCompass page, click a course name.
Do one of the following:
Click Communication in the course menu, then click Messages.
Click Control Panel, then click Messages under Course Tools.
Click New Message.
Under Recipients, click To to display the Select Recipients dialog box.
Click a name in the left box, then click the right arrow to select the recipient. Repeat this step to select additional recipients.
When you have finished selecting recipients, click Submit.
Tip: Click Cc to select recipients to receive a copy of the message, or click Bcc to select recipients to receive a blind copy of the message. (Bcc recipient names cannot be seen by other recipients.)
Type a subject in the Subject box, then type your message in the Body box.
Click one of the options for displaying the text:
Smart Text displays the text as it is entered, but converts URLs and e-mail addresses into links.
Plain Text displays the text exactly as it is entered, with no links.
HTML displays the text as you format it using HTML tags that you type in this box.
Click Submit, then click OK.
