Searching by last name, user name, or e-mail address

1. On the Search tab, click either Last Name, User Name (a person's CourseCompass login name), or Email, depending on the type of search you want to perform.

2. Enter one or more letters for which to search.

Note: You can enter partial names as well as whole names. The letters you choose can fall anywhere in the name. For example, "ol" might return both "Colin" and "Olin."

3. Click Search to display the list of users with names that match your search criteria.

Note: If the search does not return any users, try a different search or list all the users for your course by clicking the List All tab and then the List All button.
