You can remove any assessment—publisher-provided assessments and ones you create—from your course. Removal is permanent; you cannot retrieve an assessment once you have deleted it.
Rather than permanently delete the assessment from your course, you can remove the assessment from the content area where it is deployed or modify assessment options to make it unavailable. If the assessment was deployed to a content area, you must remove the assessment from the content area.
Notes:
Removing a TestGen test deletes it from your course. However, as long as you kept a copy of the test on your computer or on a storage device, such as a CD, you can re-import it into the course at any time.
You can remove a TestGen test from a course using the TestGen Manager, whether or not the test has been deployed and students have taken it.
To remove an assessment from a course:
Click the course name on the My CourseCompass page.
Click Control Panel.
Click Assessment/Test Manager under Assessment.
Click Remove next to the assessment you want to delete, then click OK.
