Assessing student work>>Creating and managing questions>>Adding and removing questions
You can upload text files containing test questions into an assessment. The questions you author offline must match a specific file structure.
This procedure assumes that you have created a .txt with your questions; you are in the process of creating or modifying an assessment; you have selected Upload Questions in the Add drop-down list on the Canvas page, and clicked GO; and you are now on the Upload Questions page.
Notes:
Questions you upload have no point value unless you enabled the creation setting that lets you specify a default point value. You can either set a default point value in creation settings or modify the questions to assign them point values individually.
Questions that you upload to a survey cannot contain correct and incorrect answers. Provide answer choices, where appropriate, but do not include the "correct" and "incorrect" tags.
To upload questions from a .txt (text) file:
On the Upload Questions page, click Browse to navigate to the file containing the questions to import.
Select the file to upload and click Open.
Click Submit to upload the file.
The questions from the uploaded file are added to the question list on the Canvas page.
(Optional) Add another question of the same or different type.
Click OK on the Canvas page to save the assessment.
