Using question categories and keywords

You can create categories as a way of grouping assessment questions on similar topics or with a similar objective. For example, you might create an Ethics category for questions concerning ethical issues in business. Or you might create a Definitions category for all questions that deal with terminology.

Categories make it easier to find existing questions you want to add to an assessment. There are no default categories for questions; you create them to suit your course curriculum. Any categories you define are available for use with every assessment in your course.

Similarly, you can associate questions with keywords instead of or in addition to categories. For example, within the Definitions category, you might further group questions by associating them with keywords such as "logistics" and "advertising."
