Using the TestGen Manager

You use the TestGen Manager to create and manage TestGen tests.

Note: To work with CourseCompass tests (non-TestGen tests), use the Assessment/Test Manager.

To access the TestGen Manager:

1. Click the course name on the My CourseCompass page.

2. Click Control Panel.

3. Click TestGen Manager under Assessment.

The TestGen Manager displays the following information for each assessment:

• Name – Name of the test.

• # of Questions – Number of questions the test contains. If a subset of questions is selected, this value is the number of questions that will be delivered to students when they take the test.

• Password – Password, if any, that you assigned to the test.

• Deployed – Content area where students can access the test. If you have not added the test to a content area, the No appears in this column.

• Last Modified – Date you uploaded or last modified the test in CourseCompass.

The TestGen Manager also provides buttons that let you modify the TestGen test and remove the test from the course.
