Modifying items in the gradebook

You can modify any gradebook item—items that you create as well as CourseCompass items (TestGen tests and deployed assessments).

To modify a gradebook item:

  1. Click the course name on the My CourseCompass page.

  2. Click Control Panel.

  3. Click Gradebook under Assessment.

  4. Click Manage Items at the top of the page, then click Modify next to the item you want to change.

Note: You can also modify an item by clicking it on the Gradebook View Spreadsheet page, then clicking Item Information.

  1. Under Item Information, enter or select information as follows:

  1. Under Options, set these options:

  2. Click Submit, then click OK.

Note: You can modify the Display As and Make item visible to students options for the Total and Weighted Total columns in the gradebook in the spreadsheet view. To do so, click the column name in the spreadsheet, then click Item Information.
