Using the gradebook>>Creating & managing categories
You can add new gradebook categories or modify categories you have already created. You can also remove categories you created.
Note: You cannot modify or remove the gradebook categories that are included with CourseCompass.
To add or modify a gradebook category:
Click the course name on the My CourseCompass page.
Click Control Panel.
Click Gradebook under Assessment.
Click Gradebook Settings.
Click Manage Gradebook Categories.
To add or modify a category, follow one of these steps:
To create a new category, click Add Category.
To modify a category you created, click Modify next to that category.
Enter or change the name for the category.
(Optional) Type or edit the description for the category, which appears on the Manage Categories page.
Click Submit, then click OK.
The new or modified category is listed alphabetically on the Manage Categories page. As you add gradebook items or modify gradebook items, you can assign them to this category.
