Removing gradebook categories

You can remove gradebook categories you created as long as the category is not in use. If gradebook items are assigned to the category, first modify them to change their category assignment, then remove the category.

Note: You cannot modify or remove gradebook categories that are included with CourseCompass.

To remove a gradebook category:

1. Click the course name on the My CourseCompass page.

2. Click Control Panel.

3. Click Gradebook under Assessment.

4. Click Gradebook Settings.

5. Click Manage Gradebook Categories.

6. Click Remove next to the category you want to remove.

Note: If a category is in use, CourseCompass displays a message and does not allow you to remove the category.

7. Click OK.
