You can apply filters to the spreadsheet view to display gradebook items for a single category, a subset of students, or both.
Note: You can also use sort criteria to sort items in the spreadsheet view.
To filter the spreadsheet view:
Click the course name on the My CourseCompass page.
Click Control Panel.
Click Gradebook under Assessment.
Apply one or both of the filters:
Select a category from the Filter Items by Category drop-down list, then click GO. Only items assigned to the selected category are displayed.
Select a letter from the Filter Users by Last Name drop-down list, then click GO. Only grades for students whose last name begins with the selected letter are displayed.
Note: To display all student records for all items again, select All from both drop-down lists.
