Modifying how student information appears in the gradebook

You can change the way students are identified in the gradebook. You can enable any combination of these display settings:

• Student Name: Last Name, First Name (the default) – For example, Wells, Maya or Wells, Maya R.

• Student Name: First Name, Last Name – For example, Maya Wells or Maya R. Wells

• User ID – For example, mwells34

Note: Student ID is not functional in CourseCompass.

To modify the student information settings:

1. Click the course name on the My CourseCompass page.

2. Click Control Panel.

3. Click Gradebook under Assessment.

4. Click Gradebook Settings.

5. Click Spreadsheet Settings.

6. Select the settings you want to enable.

7. Click Submit, then click OK.
