Viewing information and settings for items

You can view all the information and settings for a gradebook item, such its name, the points possible, the grade display format, and the visibility setting. You can modify the gradebook item as well.

Note: You can also modify the grade display option and the visibility setting for the Total and Weighted Total columns.

To view information for an item:

1. Click the course name on the My CourseCompass page.

2. Click Control Panel.

3. Click Gradebook Views under Assessment.

4. Click View Grades by Item.

5. To view details for a specific item, click the item name.

6. Click Item Information.

7. If you modify the gradebook item information or settings, click Submit, then OK.

Note: You can also access the Item Options page by clicking a gradebook item in the spreadsheet view.
