You can modify self-assessment survey options after you add the self-assessment survey to a content area. You can change the availability, presentation, and the number of attempts students are allowed to take the self-assessment survey.
To modify self-assessment survey options:
Click the course name on the My CourseCompass page.
Click Control Panel.
Under Content Areas, click the link for the content area where the self-assessment survey was added.
Click Modify next to the self-assessment survey you want to modify. The Modify Self-Assessment Survey page appears.
Click Modify the Self-Assessment Survey options. The Self-Assessment Survey Options page appears.
(Optional) Change the self-assessment survey’s name, its description, and whether the survey is launched in a separate browser window.
(Optional) Set or change the following options:
Make the link available – Select Yes if you want students to be able to view and take the self-assessment survey.
Add a new announcement for this Self-Assessment Survey – Select Yes to post an announcement about this self-assessment survey in the course Announcements area.
Multiple attempts? – Select Unlimited Attempts if you want to allow students to take the self-assessment survey more than once. When students retake self-assessment surveys, their score is updated in the gradebook each time they submit the test. Select Number of Attempts and enter a numerical value to the box if you want to limit the number of attempts students have to take the survey.
When done modifying the self-assessment survey options, click Submit, and then click OK.
