The Announcements area on the My CourseCompass page includes general announcements from Pearson Education. As an instructor, you can also display timely information about each of your courses. For example, you might post assignment due dates, notifications of changes to the syllabus, dates for guest speaker appearances, corrections to course material, or updates to an exam schedule.
To view or hide the announcements for a course, click the course name in the Announcements area.
To view an announcement in its entirety, click the announcement text to display the View Announcements page.
To customize the Announcements area on the My CourseCompass page:
Click the arrow next to the View drop-down list, and then click one of the following options:
Today - displays announcements for the current date
Last 7 days - displays announcements for the past week
Last 30 Days - displays announcements for the past month
All - displays all announcements
After you select an option, the page refreshes and the announcements are displayed based upon your list selection.

You can also view announcements for an individual course on the Announcements page within the course, or by clicking Communication in the course menu and then Announcements.
